In aerodynamics, the total pressure represents the total energy of the flowing air. The dynamic pressure and static pressure contained in it can be converted to each other, and the law of energy conservation and conversion is observed. The wind pressure ΔPt here is relative to the surrounding atmosphere and is a relative pressure, that is, the pressure calculated from the surrounding atmospheric pressure as zero.
There are two kinds of curves in the figure: the first is the relationship between â–³ Pt and flow V when the fan is working. The flow rate decreases when â–³ Pt decreases; the second type is a curve that rises upwards from the origin, indicating the relationship between flow rate and flow resistance after flowing air meets the forward resistance (called flow resistance). At this time, the ordinate is the flow resistance â–³ P, and the abscissa is still the flow rate V per unit time. The curve indicates that the flow rate V increases, and the cross section of the air duct remains unchanged, which is equivalent to an increase in flow velocity, which will increase the flow resistance. The intersection of the two curves is the fan operating point.
In the power electronic device, the fan blows air to the radiator and flows through the gap of the fins. This is equivalent to the air duct cross section changing from large to small, the air flow rate increases, and at the same time, it will produce resistance greater than other locations, that is, the radiator flow Resistance â–³ P, which cancels out a part of the fan's wind pressure â–³ Pt. The corresponding air flow is the actual air volume at this time.
