LG announced the launch of the PJ9 360-degree floating speaker. Leveraging LG's experience in developing Bluetooth speakers, the PJ9 promises a more impressive audio output performance plus waterproof features and long battery life. When the power is about to run out, the LG PJ9 will gently and safely land on the pedestal. This process will activate the speaker wireless charging function. Most importantly, this means that even if the power is running out, the music is not interrupted. When fully charged, the PJ9 can be used continuously for 10 hours.
In addition to its long battery life, the PJ9 is also characterized by its IPX7 rating, making it immune to rain, swimming pools or bathtubs. Stay in at least 30 minutes in 1 meter of deep water. This LG speaker hides two passive speakers to provide a more balanced bass and midrange. The base station also integrates a subwoofer. Since it is a 360-degree speaker, it can emit audio evenly in all directions.
In terms of design, LG uses a simple, eye-catching cylindrical top with a slightly dome. This makes the speaker look more like a floating disembodied microphone. The LG PJ9 will be showcased at CES 2017 next week.
