TI Programmable Multi-Compound Fast Charge Management Reference Design

description

The reference design is a programmable single-chip IC solution for fast charge management of NiCd, NiMH or Li-Ion batteries in single or multi-chemical applications. It will use the appropriate battery chemistry (nickel or lithium) and perform the operation using the best charging and termination algorithms. This process eliminates poor charging, undercharging or overcharging and ensures fast charging accuracy and safe termination.
