The doctor-patient relationship in China, the degree of tension is believed to be heard by everyone. This is of course related to the medical system, but it is also related to space design to a certain extent, including the design of the interior, especially the lighting, and the design of the guiding system. Maybe each of us, when we are in the hospital, the dark space, the crowds, the bad environment, even if the body is ok, it will always feel sick. From the design point of view, how to improve the functionality and comfort of the space, reduce tension and anxiety, make patients and their families more relaxed, and should have some help in relieving the relationship between doctors and patients. Those who wish to have the opportunity to undertake design work in the medical field can make some substantial and valuable efforts in this regard.
Why is the medical facility only a cool white space? In fact, many medical spaces now have social and hospital functions in addition to treatment. Although the treatment room is in the core area of the clinic, many designers are trying to make space a more social and humane medical institution.

The intention to use space to alleviate the patient's natural anxiety is to make the patient's natural relaxation after entering the clinic is the biggest challenge in the medical field, but the United Arab League tells you that the designers solve the problem through these three ways:

First of all: Minimize the visual stimuli in the space, so that patients can avoid receiving unnecessary information when entering the space, thus helping the brain to enter a more relaxed state.

Secondly, the addition of natural elements in space, related research shows that the existence of natural factors, even painting or artificial plants, will affect people's mental and physiological reactions and reduce tension or anxiety.

Finally: the average designer uses only two colors throughout the clinic. A color in the public area creates a quiet and peaceful atmosphere and helps the patient to perceive the spatial functional distinction. In all treatment rooms and work areas, white is used to reflect the cleanliness of the space.
Let’s see how the designer behaves.
Dental clinic in Porto, Portugal

The construction space of this clinic is unconventional structure, the interior is narrow but has sufficient floor height, and the two large floor-to-ceiling glass are on the front and back sides.

Paulo Merlini created a white “roof†in the raised space of the reception and waiting area, which gives the patient a familiar feel and helps them calm down before treatment.

A series of luminaires are suspended in the “roofâ€, enriching the space with light and solving the lighting problems in the high space. The glass façade on the back of the clinic provides good natural light and this space is planned for the treatment room and work area.

The mirrored wall on the side of the stairs at the entrance creates an illusion by reflection, making the small space look more spacious.

A minimalist and elegant staircase leads the patient to the upstairs lounge, where the designer sets the window on the floor of the second floor, which reinforces the visual connection between the two floors and gives the second floor lounge Come to a perspective that overlooks the light.

From the perspective of the entrance to the clinic, the window of the second-floor waiting room is a very important element. Its position just attracts attention, and a slight upward movement allows the patient to naturally perceive the high space.

In the treatment room, where the patient's seat faces the vegetation outside the window, the designer hopes to use the external changes, even the wind-blown leaves to distract the patient's attention and reduce any unpleasant feelings caused by excessive focus on the treatment itself.

Lisbon dental clinic interior design

Designed by the MMVArquitecto office in Portugal, the dental clinic reinterprets a dental clinic with a new, clear spatial character on the first floor of a complex in Torres Vedras Square, Lisbon.

The designer hopes that the space to create an excellent dental clinic in the city is a quiet space, more pauses and thoughts, but the surface is full of vitality, a space of contemplation.

Perceived space is through path, light, reflection, transparency, and mobility.
The semi-transparent wall surface made of recycled glass is the main visual symbol of the space. The light reflects and refracts through the irregular surface to create a poetic feeling of space.

SIMATIC S5
For over two decades, the SIMATIC S5 was successfully used in the process industry and in manufacturing automation as a complete controller family for a wide range of controller tasks. Many SIMATIC S5 control systems are still in reliable service today, but rapid technological changes and increased market demands place stringent requirements on the automation system of today and tomorrow. A migration from SIMATIC S5 controllers to SIMATIC S7 is therefore always a wise decision. However, an upgrade to a DCS might perform better depending on your application. For these circumstances the "Totally Integrated Automation" (TIA) concept of Siemens offers a lot of interesting possibilities.
