Atmel announced that the maXTouch mXT224S controller has been selected by Samsugn for the latest Galaxy S III Mini smartphone touch screen.
The newly launched Galaxy S III Mini smartphone uses an advanced 800 x 480 resolution AMOLED 4-inch WVGA display screen powered by Atmel's maXTouch mXT224S controller. Through Atmel maXTouch technology, users can enjoy a thinner high-response touch screen, flawless touch operation and lower power consumption, and higher accuracy that can suppress false touches. The Samsung Galaxy S III Mini smartphone has a dual-core processor running Android 4.1 version of the Jelly Bean operating system and a 5 million pixel camera.
