Media: Consumer electronics and the life cycle of the vehicle are completely different. As a consumer, after buying a new car, you definitely want to get a new solution. How to deal with the relationship between the two?

Azmoon Ahmad: Our continent recognizes that there is such a problem in the industry. Our solution is AutoLinQ, an open platform and architecture that subverts past business models and allows users to get new applications after buying a car. We can achieve it in several ways. One is affordable, the other is available anytime, anywhere, and the other is easy to use. These three are jointly completed through our pure open architecture and platform.

Media: What are the similarities and differences between AutoLinQ and ACMI?

Azmoon Ahmad: ACMI's concept is seamless, allowing mobile phones or portable devices to seamlessly interoperate with car radios and navigators, allowing mobile phone applications to be easily mapped to the car navigation system's screen. The concept of AutoLinQ is even larger, equivalent to Apple's application store, which allows third-party development products to be put into the store after our certification, and end users can download these applications to the car. Different owners have different interests and needs, and AutoLinQ owners can download their favorite applications. ACMI is designed to create applications that users can use, and AutoLinQ creates a platform for third parties that users can download to their driving devices at will.

Media: For AutoLinQ, what kind of communication means is more suitable in China? 2G?3G?4G?

Azmoon Ahmad: Depending on the application, it is ultimately up to the application to decide what kind of network is needed. What kind of application is used in the Telematics car, the customer can accept, what kind of communication technology we will use. If you need high-speed download, 3G and 4G will also be applied. At present, the basic 2G and 2.5G bearer range is acceptable. If you only control the car remotely, the amount of data is not large, 2G is OK. If you need a data logger to upload all the data, or the North American Street View data camera, you need to download the data stream in real time, which requires 3G.

We recently announced a technology like AutoLinQ. We will have a big showcase at CES in Las Vegas next month. We will also do large-scale in Europe at CBIT in Hannover, Germany in the middle of next year. Demonstration and demonstration of this aspect. There are many OEMs who are very interested in this aspect, and are discussing cooperation with us, but these things will take several years to commercialize in the market. It is not that the Chinese market is not our most important market. We have started now and will introduce AutoLinQ technology and solutions to the Chinese market in the next few years.

Media: The connection between the car and the Internet will be a development direction in the future. What are the R&D achievements and plans of the mainland in this regard?

Azmoon Ahmad: On the one hand, we firmly believe that AutoLinQ is a good open platform, connected to the car and the Internet, affordable and ready to use. Putting a PC in the car is a good idea. Everyone is looking forward to it, but it is not realistic to use a PC while driving, and the price of the PC is relatively expensive. We need a friendly interface, the car owner can afford, and can use a lot of software, which is AutoLinQ. We attach great importance to the investment in this aspect of China. We have established two R&D centers this year, one in Yangpu and one in Jiading with an investment of 60 million Euros. We are optimistic about the future in China.

Media: Can you understand that a platform like AutoLinQ is more similar to IPhone or Google's mobile platform?

Azmoon Ahmad: If the ratio is second to none, AutoLinQ is a Linux-based OS from the hardware and software platform. On top of this, Google's Android application software can be compared with Google's GPhone. For the traditional car entertainment system, because it is a relatively closed system, the development cycle and cost are very high, and it is difficult for users to upgrade after buying a car, which is not a boon for the end user. Nowadays, with the open platform, many new applications can be loaded. As long as we provide good security measures to make the application safe and reliable, we can reduce the cost of the user's car. This is the fundamental intention of our AutoLinQ.

Media: How to solve the contradiction that car owners who enjoy the service face the need to terminate the service after replacing the new car?

Azmoon Ahmad: At present, we don't have a final strategy. The behavior patterns of car owners in Europe, North America and Asia are not the same. We may end up with both.

Media: What are the similarities and differences between AutoLinQ and BMW's NGTP?

Azmoon Ahmad: Two different concepts, AutoLinQ is to create an application model, provide the entire hardware and software in the car, and the back-end industry chain architecture, allowing third-party new applications to be safely certified for owners to download and use. NGTP is more of a service architecture in the background of Telematics. There is a core gateway in the middle, so that different third-party new applications or service providers can be accessed as a new TSP. After the unified finishing and integration of the gateway, we have A public API, in which case it would be easier to add a new service, service, TSP, or service provider. It provides a background access mode, AutoLinQ provides the overall user experience mode, the two can not be directly compared. NGTP is shielded from the user, and AutoLinQ can give the user experience and is determined by the user.

Media: Which cars are currently available?

Azmoon Ahmad: The car owners of the European Department of Asian and Asian Departments are very interested. The earliest application will be in 2012, but it is not convenient to provide the name of the specific car manufacturer.

Media: CES is more of a consumer electronics end product, and AutoLinQ is a solution, how to deal with it?

Azmoon Ahmad: If you come to CES, please contact us in advance, we will send someone to contact you, then we will have products to demonstrate. A year ago, we started to develop an architecture like AutoLinQ. We started to do market research. The official computer simulation products will be released in 2010, so you will see more real products at CES and CBIT.

Media: As a supplier of Anji Star, what is your strategy?

Azmoon Ahmad: We believe that localized service and R&D are critical, including our latest AutoLinQ technology, we will look for a case suitable for China, we will do research and development locally, bringing applications that are truly suitable for Chinese users to the Chinese market. Our localization process plans to grow by 200%.

Media: For Chinese users, Telematics is still relatively new. What plans does the mainland have? For example, first push the entry-level products and then upgrade?

Azmoon Ahmad: The mainland is a mainstream supplier. Our direct customers are car manufacturers. We need to cooperate with the car manufacturers to introduce technology. The car manufacturers will also consider their target users and usage habits. For us, the gradual introduction of the practice is more appropriate, not one step. Of course we have to develop their strategy through our customer car factory.
